WattSpot (wattspot.cc) finds sweet-spot training climbs in your own ride history. It is a small, independent, non-commercial project. This page explains what data it touches and why.

What we store

What we do with it

One thing: detect and rank sustained climbs in your rides for you. Your data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or profiling. There are no analytics trackers on this site.

What we access at intervals.icu

WattSpot requests read-only access to your activities (for ride streams) and settings (for your FTP and weight). It never writes to your intervals.icu account and never requests more than it needs.

Cookies

One essential session cookie keeps you signed in, plus a short-lived cookie used only during sign-in for security. No tracking or third-party cookies.

Where it lives

WattSpot runs on Microsoft Azure. Credentials are encrypted at rest and the database is backed up routinely.
